Floris Vansina

Floris co-founded KeBeK Private Equity in 2012, and is Managing Partner.

Floris joined KBC Group in 1988 and was in charge of KBC’s private equity activities from the start in 1999 until the end in early 2013. Floris was instrumental in developing KBC Private Equity into one of the leading PE-players in Belgium. Next to his management role, Floris was mainly involved in buyout, development capital and mezzanine projects.

Floris also served as a board member and as a member of the executive board of EVCA (European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association) from 2005 to 2008.

Before 1999, Floris was active in corporate finance, working on M&A deals and Equity Capital Market transactions within KBC Group (1988-1999) and as an auditor with Peat Marwick / KPMG (1985-1987).

Floris holds an MSc of Applied Economic Sciences from Antwerp University (UFSIA) and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
